Madeline has been a joy to have her in
our lives. She is my little shadow and “protector” -
fiercely loyal and devoted to us, yet also adds comic
relief to almost any situation with her personality and
sense of humor. She is also an amazing athlete. It’s
breathtaking to watch the speed with which she chases
rabbits; she would put racing greyhounds to shame. And
like them, she has yet to catch one, thank goodness.
Although quite the “show-girl” in the ring, the patience
and love she demonstrates as she nurtures her babies has
been very moving to watch. She truly has come into her
own as a mother.

In September, Madeline was bred to
Ch.Telstar’s
Back to BoDon
(Cooper) owned by Bob and Donna Gunderson. On
November 30th, 2004 Madeline gave birth
to three huge, beautiful and healthy girls, you
may see them on the
puppy page. We
are so grateful to Beth for talking us through the
delivery over the cell phone without too
many lost connections at crucial moments this
being ours and Madeline’s first litter.

Madeline went
Winners Bitch and won a 3 Point Major under Judge
Mr. Robert L. Vandiver
on November 20th, 2005. She now only needs 4
points (and one major) to finish.

Madeline
finished her championship with a huge 5-Point
Major Best of Winners under breeder-judge Pat
Mullen at the extremely competitive Kennel Club of
Palm Springs show on January 8, 2006! Madeline and
handler Marianne Caprino (Cherokee Oaks Boxers)
teamed up for an unforgettable performance! Thank
you, Marianne!
